This quick and easy crispy peanut tofu is full of buttery flavor that you love. Thanks to the peanut butter. It’s a healthy and vegan friendly meal, and is a good source plant-based protein. It’s best to have as a side dish or an afternoon snack.
Tofu type for this peanut butter tofu
You should use extra firm tofu for this recipe. This type of tofu does not break while toasting. Extra firm tofu becomes crispy after roasting it.
I first tried this recipe with classic tofu, which is a type of medium firm tofu. While the taste was still okay, the tofu scrambled a bit, and did not really get the crunchiness. So, avoid that.
